The nation is now facing a Ketchup shortage

We’re looking at a nationwide ketchup shortage because of the pandemic. Because so many restaurants are now doing more to-go orders, they’re going through a ton of packets . . . and prices are up 13% in 14 months. Additionally, restaurants that have opened for indoor dining are facing COVID-19 guidelines that dictate they use individual condiment packets rather than tabletop bottles as a way to curb the spread of the virus – further fueling the shortage of ketchup packets.
