Very soon you’ll be able to find out if you are positive for Covid-19 from the comfort of your home. Late yesterday (April 1st), the FDA authorized the Quidel QuickVue and Abbott BinaxNOW tests for home use. You would be able to swab on your own at home and find your results out without having to make an appointment with a health care facility, and the best part is how quickly you’ll be able to view your results. The Quidel test delivers results in 10 minutes and the Abbott test requires 15 minutes.
