Acadiana Curfews Due To Hurricane Delta

New Iberia

A city-wide curfew has been issued for New Iberia beginning Thursday, October 8, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. and Friday, October 9, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Emergency personnel will be allowed on the roadways during the set curfew times.

Lafayette Parish

After consulting with the Mayors, Chiefs of Police, and Chiefs of Fire in Lafayette Parish, Mayor-President Josh Guillory will implement a parish-wide curfew beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 until 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020. Only emergency and essential personnel are allowed to travel during the curfew. The curfew may be extended if the situation warrants.

St. Landry Parish

Curfew is in effect between noon Friday, October 7, through 8 a.m. Saturday, October 8.

St. Martin Parish

Due to impending Hurricane Delta, St. Martin Parish President, Chester R. Cedars has declared a curfew for all of St. Martin Parish beginning Friday, October 9, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. until Saturday, October 10, 2020, at 8:00 a.m.

Acadia Parish

A parish wide curfew will be in effect for Acadia Parish, including all municipalities, from dusk until dawn beginning Friday, October 9, 2020, until further notice.

Jeff Davis Parish

Parish-wide curfew will be in effect beginning Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:00 pm until sunrise each day until the mandatory evacuation is lifted.

Ville Platte

Imposing a curfew from 12 a.m. on Friday to 8 a.m. on Saturday

Maurice

Village wide curfew of 4:00 Friday to 6am Saturday or longer as needed

Iberia Parish

City-wide curfew is in effect beginning Thursday, October 8, at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. and Friday, October 9, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Emergency personnel will be allowed on the roadways during the set curfew times.
